Getting Involved

Resident's Implementation Groups

Craig Croft RIG Alvin Follows - Chair Kingshurst RIG

When we talk about regeneration we often talk about the physical changes that are happening on North Solihull.  Things like new schools, new homes, improved parks, but sitting at the heart of Regenerating North Solihull are the residents who live and breathe the changes that are taking place.

The involvement of local residents is vital to developing long terms plans for the future of North Solihull.  Just as important is enabling local residents to stay involved once the plans have been agreed and the building work starts. If you want to get involved in the detail of the projects, then our Resident's Implementation Group's (RIG) might be for you – together you can look at the detailed local plans and work out what's best for the community.

So far, Craig Croft, North Arran Way and Kinghurst & Babbs Mill neighbourhoods have their own RIGs. For more information about each RIG click the links below.
